Description
Stark VARG 80hp: The New Standard in Motocross
Unmatched Top Speed and Acceleration
The Stark VARG 80hp is engineered for explosive performance. While traditional motocross tracks rarely allow for sustained high speeds, the VARG’s powertrain is capable of reaching remarkable velocities depending on its configuration and gearing.
-
Standard MX Top Speed: Approximately 75 mph (120 km/h).
-
Supermoto/Gearing Optimized Speed: In certain configurations (such as the MegaMoto setup or with taller gearing), the bike has been recorded reaching speeds of 100–110 mph (160–177 km/h).
-
Acceleration: The 80hp motor delivers a staggering 0–60 mph in approximately 2.3 to 3.3 seconds, providing instant, linear torque that petrol bikes cannot match.
Cutting-Edge Powertrain and Battery Technology
At the heart of the VARG is a carbon fiber sleeve motor and a high-density battery system designed for maximum efficiency and cooling.
The 80hp Alpha Motor
The motor is the most power-dense in the industry, producing 9hp per kilogram. It delivers 938 Nm of torque at the rear wheel, allowing for effortless climbs and immediate drive out of corners. Because it is electric, the power is fully adjustable; via the handlebar display, you can tune the output anywhere from 10hp to the full 80hp.
Revolutionary 7.2kWh Battery (1.2 Model)
The updated 1.2 version features a 7.2kWh battery housed in a patent-pending magnesium honeycomb structure.
-
Range: Provides enough capacity for a full MXGP heat at professional intensity or up to 6 hours of trail riding.
-
Charging: A full recharge takes between 1 and 2 hours depending on the power source (compatible with standard 110V/240V outlets).
-
Durability: The system is IP69K waterproof, meaning it can handle the most extreme mud and pressure washing.
Premium Chassis and Smart Integration
The VARG isn’t just a powerful motor; it is a precision-engineered racing machine with a focus on weight distribution and user interface.
Lightweight Racing Chassis
Weighing in at approximately 118kg (260 lbs), the VARG uses the motor as a structural component of the chassis. This design results in the lowest center of gravity in its class, making the bike feel significantly lighter and more flickable than a 450cc petrol bike. It comes equipped with world-class KYB 48mm closed-cartridge forks and a rear shock, both featuring 310mm of travel.
Arkenstone Android Dash
The “dashboard” is actually a ruggedized, military-grade Android smartphone that docks into the triple clamps.
-
Custom Maps: Create and save over 100 different riding modes, adjusting engine braking, flywheel effect, and traction control.
-
Connectivity: Features integrated GPS for lap timing, maps for trail navigation, and over-the-air (OTA) updates so the bike’s software improves over time.
-
Convenience: The dash is removable, allowing you to track your stats or adjust settings from your pocket when away from the bike.
